I am always excited when I am booked to do a portrait-whether it is business-corporate-personal…always one thing applies-TIME-or rather lack of it.

Why I will always love photographs and the excitement of a new inspiration

Remembrance Sunday for my old local rag-I have always loved photographing this historic-respectful event-I feel honoured to be able to walk freely and snap away at peoples intimate emotions. I didn’t feel like I was working at all as it was such a pleasure.  Made all the more special for me, when all the parade had headed off, and I remained snapping a few more generic shots…I heard this little voice “allo mummy…mummy working” My son bounding towards me very excited to see me with all my work paraphernalia. I felt proud. A good morning, finished off by a cheap bite on the Kings road and an introduction to the amazingly talented Jill Furmanovsky, rock photographer whose incredible black and white archival iconic images left me rather desperate to get into the dark room, and only shoot film!

Some of my selection from Sunday,
